About Geordie
From 1990 to 2000 Geordie was the editor of Down to Earth - the Jack Russell Club of Australia’s quarterly magazine. He sourced all material and completed graphic design, ensuring that members received a high quality, informative magazine.
From 2011 Geordie provided back up research support for Cate as she wrote her own publications, until he branched out to bringing his own considerable skills to the fore.
Recently (published 2018) Geordie completed We Are the Dead: Gunnedah’s Great War – a detailed compendium of every individual in the Gunnedah Shire and Boggabri to die in World War 1. This publication has now sold out.
Geordie has now branched out into photographing subjects, items, photos and people, making his images available to the publications Cate is working on.
Geordie is also the media element of Write Right Media. Having loved and explored photography as a hobby all of his life, Geordie relishes the challenge of photo restoration. Geordie's skills and services also include scanning of negatives, slides, photos and paper documents. VHS to DVD transfer are also part of his skill set. And, if you live locally to Tamworth or Quirindi, a free pick-up and delivery service is available.
